Join 2023 Northern Lights photographer of the year on an EPIC night, photographing the Spring Milky Way Arch! Learn the tips and tricks you need to know to capture a Milky Way Panorama! Pick your choice of joining me the night of April 30th - May 3rd! The workshop is limited to 5 people per night About the workshop This Acadia National Park workshop will be cold! 40 degrees will be warm for nights this time of year, so bring warm clothes and layers. This will be a small group workshop of only 4 people in attendance. The workshop will meet on Friday at 12 for a meet and greet lunch before checking in and heading out for some daytime scouting and sunsets. Video on recommended equipment to bring to help with panoramas. over 6 prerecording lessons on Planning your shots, Understanding the rotation of the Milky Way through the year, Simple single shot panoramas, Stacked Panoramas, and tracked and blended panoramas. Walking/hiking during the workshop is to be expected. We will likely not be hiking up any mountains, but the most difficult and rewarding trail we would take is Great Head. Those who attend should be in good enough physical condition to be hiking and walking on rocks. $750 down Workshop total $1500 What's included. Acadia National Park entrance fee other personal expenses. If the weather does not cooperate for either night, we will either drive to clear skies if they are within a reasonable distance or we will focus on daytime photography with special night photography editing lessons.
